Nina Hećej
PhD Candidate in Geophysics and Remote Sensing affiliated with the Geophysics research group within the Department of Earth Science and the Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research at the University of Bergen. Nina Hećej's research interests include:
- Identifying and analyzing landslides and their triggering mechanisms using seismological, environmental, remote sensing data, and spatial-temporal analysis
- Usage of deep learning algorithms to automate ladslide detection, and other geomorphological features.
- Paleoenvironmental and paleoclimatic reconstructions from Quaternary geological mapping.
